RCA MA Vehicle Design degree project, "magnet concept", seeks to form a new niche´ in the field of lightweight leisure vehicles. The design concept focuses upon the sensation and emotion while riding a vehicle.

In fact, "magnet" is not a car or a motorbike; it is a refined combination of both vehicle types.

"magnet" is a unique alternative for the sports/leisure vehicle market, offering more direct involvement for the rider and providing higher sensation and greater emotional experience than existing sports cars.

Its riding sensation is very close to motorbikes, due to its exposed bodywork and leaning characteristics, but its three wheel layout and Formula One type riding position offer something quite unique. With a riding position only inches from the ground the thrill of the riding experience is amplified.

"magnet concept" is designed to be sustainable, low-emission, hybrid vehicle; it is powered by a small combustion engine and every wheel has an integrated electric engine. In future combustion engines can be replaced with a fuel cell -technology, which lower the emission level to zero.
